Zeiss lens warrantyUpdated 23 days ago

All of our Zeiss lenses are covered by a warranty for two years after the date of purchase. 

What is covered? 

  • The warranty covers damage to the lens surface where the manufacturing claims of the coating have failed including:
  • Light surface scratches to the coating where the scratch resistance should have protected the lenses 
  • Crazing caused coating failure
  • Any discolouration or air particles within the lens material

What is not covered? 

  • Deep scratches that have penetrated beyond the lens surface coating (beyond the scratch resistance of the product).
  • Clear accidental damage that goes beyond the manufacturing claims on the lenses e.g. they were chewed up by a dog, or smashed during a golfing accident

Other Conditions

  • The warranty period doesn’t reset after a claim
  • The replacement lens must be identical to the initial lens. It’s not possible to change the product, prescription, or PDs
  • There is no option for credit as an alternative
  • Lenses will not be replaced as part of our frame rehab service
