We offer a 30-day no-quibble returns and exchange policy, excluding personalised products*.
Returns are free for orders to the UK and US. For the rest of the world, return postage is paid by the sender. 


To make a return:

For UK and US returns, you can create a pre-paid return label here

For the rest of the world, send your returned package to The Brewery Building 55-61 Brewery Road London N79QH, quoting your order number. 


To make an exchange:

To make an exchange, please contact our Customer Experience team here and let us know what you’d like to exchange to and the reason for the exchange.

The team will provide instructions for making the return, and update on the delivery date for your exchange item.

Orders can also be exchanged at any of our stores.

How do I make a return or exchange?

The estimated delivery time will depend on your order
For single vision prescription orders (including sunglasses) - 7-10 business days
Non prescription orders (including sunglasses) - 3-5 business days
Varifocal/bifocal orders - 7-14 business days
Bespoke orders 4-6 weeks
Accessories - 3-5 business days

Shipping times once your order is ready 

UK - next business day
Europe - 3-5 business days
US - 5-7 business days
Rest of the world - 7-10 working days

*Please note - lead times can be longer over bank holidays

What are your shipping and lead times?

Once you've chosen your spectacles and made payment for your order, you'll be asked to upload your prescription. 

If you're having any problems doing this, please follow the process here which will show you how to send your prescription and PD photo to us.

Where do I upload my prescription? 

Online we offer single-vision lenses only. The good news is that we do offer them in all of our stores. Precise measurements and adjustments must be made whilst you are wearing your chosen frame in order to fit varifocal or bifocal lenses. If our stores are not convenient for you, you can buy the frame without lenses and take it to your local optician to have the lenses fitted.

Can I order varifocals or bifocals online?

Absolutely, just because your prescription changes, it doesn't mean new spectacles.

Our lens replacement service involves recutting and replacing your lenses with brand new Zeiss ClearView lenses, to your prescription, at our King's Cross lab.

We can replace your lenses if they've been scratched. We can even turn your spectacles into sunglasses, like water into wine.

We can reglaze any frame (even non-Cubitts), from £50 and this usually takes 10 working days. 

You can replace the lenses of your frames by popping them into any of our stores, or online here

Standard prescription lenses £75
Non-prescription lenses (including sunglasses) - £50
Thinner 1.67 index prescription lenses - £125
Thinnest 1.74 index prescription lenses - £150
Sun lenses (non-prescription) - £50
Varifocal lenses - from £225

Can I have my lenses changed?

You can browse the styles that come with adjustable nose pads here. You can also add complimentary adjustable nose pads to any acetate frame.
